You work closely with software engineers, Support, Safety and leadership. You review code, strengthen API and cloud security, lead incident response and guide F2F.com towards ISO 27001 certification.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who sets direction, takes ownership and makes security practical and understandable across the organisation.

Required Skills
- At least five years of hands-on experience in software development, security engineering or application security.
- In-depth knowledge of application security, secure coding and API security.
- Experience with Python, Node.js and reviewing backend code.
- Experience with CI/CD security, including SAST, DAST and Software Composition Analysis.
- Knowledge of AWS, Infrastructure as Code and cloud security.
- Experience with Identity and Access Management.
- Knowledge of cryptography, token-based authentication and secure session management.
- Experience establishing or managing an ISMS based on ISO 27001 or NIST CSF.
- Ability to explain security risks clearly to both technical and non-technical colleagues.
- Strong communication skills, organisational awareness and a sense of ownership.
- You reside in the Netherlands.
- Fluency in English; Dutch language skills are a plus.
- Experience with ISO 27001 certification is a strong plus.
- Experience with MDM, EDR/XDR and zero-trust solutions is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain practical security policies aligned with F2F.com’s stage of growth.
- Assess security risks and maintain the central risk register.
- Advise leadership on risks, priorities and appropriate mitigation measures.
- Prepare and lead the ISO 27001 certification process and establish the supporting ISMS.
- Conduct code reviews and identify OWASP Top 10 and business logic vulnerabilities.
- Design secure services, API integrations, databases and authentication flows.
- Integrate SAST, DAST and dependency scanning into CI/CD pipelines.
- Lead incident response, escalations, containment and post-incident reviews.
- Assess suppliers, external data flows and endpoint security.
- Strengthen security awareness across the entire organisation.
