Key Account Manager Europe

Introduction

Are you a driven sales professional with a strong network in retail and a passion for international growth? Malu is looking for a Key Account Manager to expand its presence across Europe. In this role, you will operate from Amsterdam while managing and developing the European market. You will focus on both new business development and managing key accounts, working closely with leadership to drive commercial success. You will have the freedom to shape your market approach and play a key role in a fast-growing, sustainability-driven organization.

About the role

Required Skills

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales within fashion, textile, or retail
  • Strong new business and closing skills
  • Established network within retail (international is a plus)
  • Entrepreneurial and self-driven mindset
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking
  • Willingness to travel frequently across Europe
  • Fluent in Dutch, French, and English
  • Passion for sustainable fashion

Key Responsibilities

  • Actively prospect and build a portfolio of clients
  • Identify and develop new commercial opportunities across Europe
  • Negotiate and close contracts with retail partners
  • Manage and grow existing key accounts
  • Translate commercial strategy into revenue growth
  • Collaborate with design, product management, and supply chain
  • Report on performance, market insights, and forecasts
  • Attend client meetings, trade shows, and commercial events
