What skills do you have?

Bachelor’s or recognized professional training in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
Basic understanding of accounting principles and VAT legislation
Knowledge of Dutch GAAP and IFRS is a plus
Familiarity with ERP/accounting systems is a plus (e.g., Exact)
Strong proficiency in MS Excel
Ability to work independently and within a team
Fluent in Dutch and English (required)

Your main tasks

Handle day-to-day accounting operations (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable,
bank reconciliations).
Assist with the monthly and quarterly closings.
Prepare and submit VAT declarations in accordance with Belgian regulations.
Maintain accurate general ledger entries and support journal postings.
Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth financial processes.
Provide support during the audit process
Ensure compliance with BGAAP (Belgian GAAP) standards.
