What skills do you have?

  • Master's degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, or a related field.

  • 3-5 years of sales experience, preferably in technology or related sectors.

  • 3-5 years experience with national and international grant / subsidy programs

  • Proven ability to meet sales targets in fast-paced, short-cycle sales environments.

  • Understanding of deep-tech sectors, including Energy transition, Biobased industry,
    sustainable FoodTech, electronics, photonics, robotics. etc.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to various stakeholders.

  • Candidates with an entrepreneurial mindset are particularly encouraged to apply.

This is an exceptionally challenging sales role that demands persistence, resilience, and a
long-term perspective. Success in this position requires:

• Rapid prospecting: You will need to engage in high-volume cold outreach to
potential clients and industry experts daily, responding quickly to opportunities as
they arise.

• Building a robust network: The first several months will be primarily dedicated to
prospecting and relationship building, with a focus on speed and responsiveness,
while at the same time adhering to your salestargets.

• Client-focused approach: Your primary goal will be to understand client needs and
sell services that help them secure funding for their innovative projects within tight deadlines (For example: Strategic services or grant support services).

• Short sales cycles: You must be adept at navigating quick decision-making
processes while managing multiple client interactions simultaneously.

• High rejection rate: You must be comfortable with and able to learn from frequent
rejection.

• Continuous learning: You'll need to constantly deepen your understanding of deep-
tech sectors and funding landscapes.

Salary range

A salary up to €5.000, excluding extra benefits and a bonus.
